16ft (diameter) Round-wood (coppiced) Yurt
This unique yurt is a labour of love. Made from natural coppiced hazel, the poles were cut during the autumn to promote tree growth, they have all been hand cut, stripped, sanded and oiled with Linseed oil to give a lovely honey-coloured finish. The crown is made from ash which has been steam-bent, as have the roof poles to give slightly more headroom and a more aesthetically pleasing overall shape. The canvas cover was made on a vintage hand Singer sewing machine and is made from heavy duty Regentex canvas which is rot-proof, water-proof and fire retardant. The wooden door frame bolts together and a solid pine door is added to create a sturdy, secure lockable structure. The door can also be bolted from the inside for peace of mind whilst sleeping.

This is the perfect solution for parties, weddings, group camping trips or anywhere for a group of friends who wish to be close together yet enjoy their own private space. The yurt is perfect to use as a central shelter to gather or to party or to chill out until it's time to retire to your own private den and that's where the bell tents come into their own.
